Often described as one of the most high performance and perfect waves in the world and for good reason. The jewel in the crown of southern Mentawai Island surfing.
It is as good as it gets and has conditions for all levels of surfers. Playful and fun for intermediates up to head height. From there upwards it provides high octane barrel rides and a true test of skill with large long period swell.
Mentawai Adventure Trip
North Pagai Bungalows is based in a very remote location in the southern Mentawai Islands. A trip to the southern Mentawai’s is an adventure trip that combines world class waves with remote Mentawai jungle. Villages are sparsely located on North Pagai island with large distances of uninhabited jungle separating communities in the area.
